Kody Brown has come to a significant conclusion:

The chapter of his life marked by polygamy is officially over.

Or, as several of his former partners might put it, this marks the conclusion of a romantic misadventure.

In a recent teaser for the upcoming episodes of Season 19, Kody proclaims that it’s the “end of this family” following Meri Brown’s relocation to Utah.

The emotional farewell between these ex-spouses was showcased in the latest episode of Sister Wives, which also highlighted Christine and Janelle’s earlier decisions to exit their spiritual marriages.

TLC shared an intriguing preview on Instagram on November 24, featuring a U-Haul making its way down a road while Janelle expresses her desire “to start over in the very biggest way.” The scene then shifts to Meri confiding in her close friend Jenn Sullivan about having “dated a little bit.”

Indeed, these women have finally taken steps toward new beginnings. At long last.

“Absolutely not interested in polygamy again,” one mother candidly shares with Sister Wives producers during her confessional segment, revealing how her past experiences with Kody have soured her view on such relationships.

While both Janelle and Meri seem to be navigating these transitions with grace, Kody appears overwhelmed by emotions. True to form, he centers everything around himself. In one particularly dramatic moment captured on film, he angrily throws his helmet onto the ground out of frustration regarding his current situation.

“Will you accept me as monogamous?” he implores Robyn Brown—his remaining wife—who does not seem enthusiastic about that prospect at all. Historically speaking, Robyn has made it clear that she is not keen on being solely committed to Kody without any other partners involved.

In another part of this same teaser clip, tensions remain high as Kody and his former wives continue their disputes over Coyote Pass—a property they purchased back in 2018 but never developed further.

“It’s meant to be something special,” Kody insists during one scene. “I don’t want to sell it.” Meanwhile, Janelle expresses readiness to move forward from both the land and financial matters concerning her share; she mentions that Kody has been reluctant about reimbursing her for what she is owed.

“Just give us what’s ours so we can move forward,” Janelle tells producers tearfully during an intimate conversation.

It’s crucial to note that Season 19 was filmed quite some time ago; currently speaking:

Meri resides in Utah,
Janelle has settled down in North Carolina,
and Christine is joyfully married to David Woolley.

It’s abundantly clear: none of them wish for any future involvement with Kody again.
