Collaboration Kicks Off with Hatsune Miku in Season 7 of Fortnite Festival
As previously hinted, the beloved vocaloid Hatsune Miku is set to make her grand entrance in Season 7 of Epic Games’ Fortnite Festival, a rhythm-based game crafted by Harmonix, known for its iconic titles like Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
The collaboration introduces the Music Pass, which offers players a range of free and premium rewards that can be unlocked through experience points (XP) earned across various game modes. Among the complimentary rewards are a stylish Hatsune Miku outfit, four Jam Tracks, the Break Emote, Paper Lantern Aura, Shamisen Electric Bass instrument, and as an exciting finale—a Shatter Sonic Guitar.
In addition to these free offerings, players can also access premium rewards that include unique outfits such as Neko Hatsune Miku (with LEGO styling), Brite Hatsune Miku Style options, along with instruments like the Neko Miku Keytar and Guitar. A special Jam Track titled “M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE ♥ SHOT!” featuring Hatsune Miku by SAWTOWNE will also be available for unlocking. Get ready for some vibrant performances—yes, there’s even a leek involved!
The Music Pass items may eventually become available for purchase in the game’s shop.
Beyond just the Music Pass features, several bundles are up for grabs in-store: The Hatsune Miku bundle includes not only her outfit (in LEGO style) but also Pack-sune Miku Back Bling and various emotes such as the Live Emote and Beam Emote. Additionally included are visual effects like the Light Contrail and musical accessories including Mic-u and Beat Drums. Another option is The Hatsune Miku Cyclone Bundle which comes with a customizable Cyclone Car Body featuring 13 paint colors alongside decals themed around popular elements from her universe.
Players can also find tracks like “Miku” Jam Track by Anamanaguchi along with “Daisy 2.0” featuring Ashnikko ft. Hatsune Miku and “World Is Mine” from ryo of supercell fame available within this season’s shop offerings.
Season 7 of Fortnite Festival kicks off on Tuesday with version v33.20 updates rolling out until April 8th. This season will introduce new Battle Stage Modes including Lead Only, Drums Only, Vocals Only, and Bass Only—providing fresh gameplay experiences tailored to different musical roles! Furthermore players on PlayStation or Xbox platforms will enjoy an exciting new local multiplayer feature enhancing social playability.
