Attendees are encouraged to stop by the Polkadot booth (Booth #P34 and P42 on level 5 of the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center) to collect their Proof of Presence (PoP) and embark on an interactive journey with DOTphin avatars that evolve through user engagement while supporting real-world marine conservation efforts.
By engaging in the DOTphin experience, attendees at Token 2049 can earn PoPs that unlock various stages of their avatar’s evolution. This process is informed by ecological data provided by SNI’s marine conservation partner, Aquasearch. This unique blend of blockchain technology and environmental stewardship empowers users to contribute actively to marine life preservation while exploring innovative digital experiences.

After collecting PoPs, participants can proceed to evolve their DOTphins via the REAL Evolution page on the REAL portal. The same login credentials used for claiming proofs are necessary for this step as well. The evolution journey begins when users acquire a primordial “orbo,” which serves as the initial stage; once it hatches, it signifies the start of evolving their DOTphin.
To facilitate this evolution process further along its path requires utilizing additional collected PoPs and proofs. On the REAL Evolution page within their account interface—users select options for evolving their avatar based on chosen proofs which will shape its characteristics uniquely reflecting individual contributions and achievements throughout this interactive experience.
