Samsung has yet to officially launch One UI 7.0, but preliminary information suggests that significant modifications are on the horizon. A notable change is the discontinuation of Edge Panel downloads from the Galaxy Store.
The South Korean tech giant has communicated to its users that following an upgrade to One UI 7.0, they will no longer have access to download new Edge Panels from the Galaxy Store. However, users can still utilize any Edge Panels they had previously downloaded before making the switch to One UI 7.0. These existing panels will remain accessible in the “My apps” section of the Galaxy Store. It’s important to note that if users decide to uninstall these panels after upgrading, re-downloading them will not be an option.
Interestingly, individuals with newer devices operating on One UI 7 or later can still access and download Edge Panels through their “My apps” section in the Galaxy Store—but only those that were installed on their previous devices.
