Meghan’s Netflix Series ‘With Love, Meghan’ Postponed Due to LA Wildfires

The launch of the Duchess of Sussex’s latest Netflix series has been rescheduled to March due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, as announced by the streaming platform.

Originally set to debut on Wednesday, this lifestyle show was filmed in Southern California. In light of the circumstances, Netflix expressed its complete support for Meghan’s request to postpone the premiere.

Since Tuesday, wildfires have swept through parts of California, resulting in at least 24 fatalities and displacing hundreds of thousands from their homes.

In an official statement, Netflix characterized the forthcoming series as a “sincere homage to Southern California’s charm,” noting that it would be delaying “With Love, Meghan” due to the severe impact caused by these fires. The Duchess expressed her gratitude towards her partners at Netflix for accommodating her request: “I appreciate my partners at Netflix for supporting me in postponing our launch while we prioritize those affected by these devastating wildfires in my home state.”

The show was filmed in Montecito—a town where Meghan and Prince Harry reside—and is now scheduled for release on March 4th. Fortunately, this coastal community has not yet been directly threatened by flames; however, local authorities have indicated that fire risk remains elevated.

“With Love, Meghan” features eight episodes lasting approximately 30 minutes each and includes guest appearances from notable figures such as actress Mindy Kaling and former Suits star Abigail Spencer. The recently released trailer showcases Meghan engaging in various activities like decorating a cake with fresh raspberries and harvesting honey—all set against the backdrop of her life with Prince Harry and their two children.

On Friday following these tragic events, both Prince Harry and Meghan were spotted offering comfort to residents affected by one of Los Angeles’ most catastrophic wildfire seasons on record.
